Rachel's Cake
Did this cake for a friend's MIL! She just wanted a black/white purse cake that would serve 4 and this is what I came up with! Vanilla white cake with cream cheese buttercream. Fondant accent and purse strap! It is 6"x6" and was torted on a slant so that the top was reversed so that the bottom of the "purse" is wide and the top is narrow. Hard to tell that in the picture.

simple- yet cleverly done. I often forget that not everything has to be standing up...covered in fondant and luster dusts to look good. its nice to be able to put together a small cake that looks great without all the hassle and expense. well done!
