I took a design out of a 1970s Wilton book to practice and tried a new scratch yellow cake recipe that was so dry I had to make cake balls out of it!

It's a shame it was dry, because it's beautiful. I really like the lace panel, and the blue is my favorite shade. How did you get that color?
