Thanks everyone, BellaRosa its a mixture of chocolate and glucose it looks a bit dull when you first make it but once you knead it and smooth it it gets a nice sheen and you can cover cakes and model things out of it although it doesn't set hard like gumpaste I found decorations were easily squished or damaged if not handled carefully although the weather was really hot when I made it so not sure if it was cooler if it would make a difference.

This is really beautiful, I have never heard of chocolate plastique, do you have a recipe for it I would like to try it.
