Cake balls made for gift giving for Christmas. Flavors include: Carrot Cake, Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Caramel Pecan, Chocolate Mint, Chocolate Raspberry, Coconut, French Vanilla, French Vanilla Raspberry, Lemon, Orange and Peanut Butter.
Thanks. Chele ~ The consistency is like cookie dough, so it is very easy to make them round. I allow them to sit out for a couple of hours to dry out a little (I do not freeze them before dipping....makes my chocolate crack).
Tiptop57 ~ you just need to give yourself a lot of time if you are making this many assorted flavors. I make a batch, roll them, allow to dry for a couple hours, freeze them uncoated in freezer bags, bring out what I want to dip (allow to hit room temp), coat with chocolate, box up. I store them boxed up in freezer bags in the freezer. Allow to hit room temp in box to avoid condensation.

hello, these are lovely. i have a question? what are cake balls, and how do you make them. i searched and found a receipe, but not really sure what they are. thanks, darlene
they look great!! I tried my first cake balls a few days ago - they went dwn a storm!! Love some of those boxes though, where did you get them from and what was the cost?
I know Iâm a little weird and I see strange images in everything, but did anyone else think that the thumbnail looked a lot like a kimono? The two boxes of cake balls at the top are the sleeves, the white box top in the middle is the cummerbund, and the box of cake balls at the bottom is the skirt? When I clicked on the thumbnail I was expecting a Japanese themed cake. I know, I know, I need more sleepâ¦.Great looking cake balls by the way.
those look awesome :D :D
Very nice. How do you get your cake balls so perfect?? I tried and they didn't come out as smooth as yours.
These are lovely - I was thinking about doing this for xmas gifts, any advice?
