Keller Hartley Seashells Wedding
French Vanilla cake and Strawberry cake with whipped white chocolate ganache filling. BC icing and white chocolate seashells. It was an ungodly hot and humid day and our kitchen was in the 90s inside (AC not working), I hate icing square cakes anyway and when the icing is literally melting off the cake while you're trying to ice, makes it a million times worse. But I think given the circumstances, it worked out ok. I like the look, and hoping next time I try this it will work better!
It looks very pretty under any circumstances and the fact you did it under adverse conditions...you deserve a bottle of wine!! Looks great!
this is very elegant and your shells are so pretty. Are they luster dusted? Under those circumstances my cake would not look that great!
I used SuperPearl dust on them with an eyeshadow brush. Just dusted it on, no liquid. Easy-peasy!
