10 Year Old Decorator
This is my grandsons first attempt at decorating a cake. He has helped me before and has watched many times. I had some cake left over from a cake I made the other day and he asked if he could decorate it. He was so proud.
But when we went to eat it the strawberry icing had moved down the side of the cake making the chocolate droop. He shrugged and said "Oh well, At least we know it tastes good. We should have taken the picture before it melted" He was so excited to post the picture.
Awwww, please tell him that he did a great job on his first cake ... and it does look really yummy!!!!
Tell him to keep up the good work. At least he was not too discouraged by the icing slide. It has happened to most of us!

Good job and it looks yummy. I have been doing cakes for 15+ years and just a few months ago the "Happy Birthday" ended up on the side of the cake. So tell him it happens to all of us.
