Vestment Robes
this cake is my pride and joy- a woman wanted these vestment robes done for her brother who was becoming a decon, she gave me a picture of his robes. The cake is 3- 1/2 sheet cakes cut into the robe shape, frosted with buttercream and coverd in fondant. The design was done freehand with royal icing and dust. It took about 8 hours and 5 jars of dust but was worth it for the look on her face when she saw it!

that's an awesome cake, definitely unique too I can't imagine there have been many cakes made to look like vestment robes!
