Pirate Ship Cake
For my son's 5th Birthday Paaarrrrrty! Two 9x13 cakes and one 8" round cut and stacked to look like pirate ship. I found Capt. Jack Sparrow and Will Turner online, whopper cannon balls. Railings were done with tootsie rolls. Chocolate coins, rolos, raisinettes painted with gold luster dust in the treasure chest. Needless to say, the kids LOVED it!
You are a dream to think up such a wonderful cake - congratulations
love the tootsie roll idea. I'll try that on the next time I make a ship instead of crackers.
I love this cake. My boys will be having a pirate party in a couple of months and if you don't mind I'll be using your cake for inspiration.
Great cake..doing a pirate party soon I too will be using this as inspiration,,thanks
