North Pole - Winter Wonderland

Done for joint Christmas and my nieces birthday for christmas day. Niece loved it.....she's got a thing about penguins at the moment. Figure is based on a cartoon character poplar in England at the moment ' Dora The Explorer'. Cake was finished off with edible irredescent glitter dust.

Thank you for your lovely comments. I modelled them freehand. Black sugarpaste in the shape of a bowling skittle, their chests again mould flat into the same skittle shape. Wings into susage shapes and pressed slightly flat. The scarfs cut as stripes and the end cut with sharp knife to look like tassels, glued around neck first before coloured square added. Beak made from marzipan glue to face 1st then cut with sharp knife to make the beak. Feet made from marzipan. I hope this helps!
