I love it! I may be doing one of these for my nephews 1st birthdays in a couple of weeks. What did you use for the haybells, and animals?

The animals on the actual cake are made of royal icing. But I purchased the animals for the cupcakes. The haystacks are mini wonder molds. Its from the 2002 or 2003 Wilton yearbook. The cupcakes were my idea, because it needed to feed a ton of kids! :)

I have to find out where I can get the animals Because I have looked at Wally world and at my cake supple store and could not find them and I have no clue when it comes to making my own? What tip did you use to make the hay?

the 233? grass pull-out tip. Ebay has the little people farm animals for cake decorating which are very similar to what I used. Just search: little people farm cake on ebay and you should find them. They are very cute.

I LOVE this! when doing the barn, do you lay it down to decorate the front and sides, and then stand it up to do the back? how did you deco the thing without it messing up?

I think I just did the barn first, before anything else and had it on a cake board, which was on my turntable. Then I added everything else.
