Thank you everyone! The vase is done with sugar mixed with a little water (sugar mold recipe) and I took a tall mug, placed sugar mixture it it and turned it over onto a foil covered board. Placed in oven for about 20 minutes on the lowest setting with the door cracked. Then pick it up and hollow out the center (it won't all be hard) and then let air dry. I have a choc. mold that has bases on it. I made a sugar base using one of the molds and just attached it with some royal icing. HTH! Jen :-)
