This is only my 2nd cake I've done. This is a vanilla velvet cake with orange essence b/c filling and iced with also. My Hubby's request, buttercream roses and leaves. My roses kept ruffling on me. :( Critique away!!!!!

8O yellow came out extremely bright on my camera for some reason. More a softer lemon yellow in person.

Your icing is so smooth and your yellow is so vibrant! Very nice job on those roses and borders!! My roses still ruffle on me. I just convince myself that I'm making a rare breed).
