Barnyard

Barnyard on Cake Central

This is the inspiration from all you cc'ers who have made a barnyard cake! Thank-You!! Thanks dods for the info on how you made your barn. All I can say it it took forever to make! My friend teared up when she saw it. It is an altered WASC made into carmel hazelnut with mini chocolate chips in it. Carmel hazelnut bc. Satin Ice fondant.

For the barn I made 3 loaf pans(3 pk aluminum-reg. size), cut in half, so they were about 3" long, then I stacked them. Carved the top to the shape I wanted. Covered in b/c & red fondant. For the roof I covered graham crackers with gray fondant & painted with a mixture of vodka, super pearl & nu silver luster dust.I cut holes out for the horses head and the chicken laying her eggs. I used a graham cracker for the door that is propped open(covered in fondant, toothpicks inserted so it would stay in cake).
