For the lid, I simply cut out a cake board using the pan I baked the cake in as a template. Then I covered it in fondant (not meant to be eaten) and just applied the basketweave from there. To attach, I placed three toothpicks in the top of the cake toward the back and set the 'lid' down on top of the bunny and resting against the toothpicks. I then used a #6 tip to place a rope border around the lid and placed a larger dot of frosting over the tips of the toothpicks for location purposes.
