OMG!! I too went to your website. I am in shock! Please tell me that you were an art major or at least that you've studied many years with some famous cake artist! I have been decorating cakes for 20+ years on a part-time basis and I've never even come close to the beauties you produce. I plan to pursue this business full time in a couple of years and know I need to have some formal instruction. After having seen your work, I'm not sure there is any hope for me even if I study with a master!!! ...

Oh, you can't quit if you have a passion for this!! My degree is in nursing and I'm self taught, decorating for 5 years. I don't take credit for my talent because I know it's a gift. Thank you so much for your kind words about my work but please, don't use me as your measuring stick on cake decorating. I'm sure your gifts shine in your work and you're probably not even aware of it.

Thank you. Cake decorating is a passion for me. However, I don't have enough time to spend on it as I would like to with a full time job. Thus, not as much practice as I need. I'm hoping that I can make more time to practice and take some professional classes. I'm pretty much self taught too, but believe me, I'm not near your level. I won't quit. It's just frustrating to see how much work I need to do. :cry:
