Christening Dress

a friend wanted a baptismal cake for her baby girl featuring a christening dress. i looked at other christening dress cakes, baptismal cakes, and baby shower cakes here on CC to get inspiration and this is what i came up with. i used grannys3angels pattern for the baby shoes, so cute! thanks everyone!

i feel so bad though that i wasn't able to take a pic of the cake myself coz my cam was out of batt. this one was from the friend who ordered the cake. wrong angle... :( and i only come up with nice cakes every once in a great while *sigh* you can't see the details on the baby dress.

I think the cake looks wonderful, I can tell how much detail you put into the details of the dress like the lace and pink "eyelet" design. great job!!!

This is very cute, yes it would be nice to see it from another angle, but then you wouldn't see the adorable shoes!
