thank you, you guys are so sweet. The client said that they loved it. I left it on an armoire type counter in their dining room and she said all the girls thought that someone bought the bride to be a purse, what a compliment:)

Wow, you really know how to make a girl feel special:) I started this cake late in the afternoon after I finished a hunting wedding cake, so I would hope in future I would be a bit quicker on it. I started construction at about 3:30 in the afternoon and finished the detail work at about 3:30 am. I think the detail work took about 4 hours. Thanks again for the wonderful comments:)

I think this might be the most comments I've ever gotten, thank you:) The flavor of this one was almond with alternating layers of raspberry filling and raspberry flavored and colored buttercream. The cake total took about 12 hrs. about 4 of those hrs. was for the detail work, hopefully I can cut the time down to about 6 hrs. the next time, since I figured out the construction on it. I just cut the strap using a 2in. wide wheel cutter then I used a small diamond impression mat and made the pattern an...

thanks pinkbox, the planning time was not that long, all I did was go online, find the purse, and pick what part of the pattern I wanted to duplicate. Figuring out where to start on the cake took a while though :D
