Turkey on Cake Central

Here's my turkey. White cake for breast, chocolate cake for legs. BC icing airbrushed. Gumpaste lettuce and cake scraps for stuffing.

jstritt, did you use the egg shape pans,and how did you get the legs and wings that shape. Also did you put the cake on the platter first and then ice and decorated?

Thanks for the comments! As far as the lettuce goes, I bought a play Subway food set that had too leaves of lettuce. I rolled out the gumpaste and pressed it up against the toy lettuce. Then I let it dry on flower formers before adding it to the platter. I used the egg pans and used ice cream cones for the legs and wings. I stuck cake scraps in the cones and added dowel rods on the inside for support and attached to the mini eggs. PM or e-mail me if you would like more info.
