Mummy

Mummy on Cake Central

I gave these out to my special trick or treaters. The schools are so funny about celebrating Halloween anymore, that all my orders were pumpkins for classroom parties. The Moms were all worried they would offend someone. I had fun making these and spiderweb cookies.

I used the Wilton royal recipe slightly thicker than my normal with a the smooth side up of a basketweave tip. I put on a few strands, let them dry, added a few more and so on.

I almost forgot the mummies this year myself, but, saw where someone on this site had posted them. I did mean to make large candy corn shapes, and, forgot those. Next year...

See I love the mummy with the eyes poking out. I wanted to do these but like you I was afraid to offend so I did ghosties and pumpkins. Next year I will make some mummies even if I have to eat them all myself!

These are so cute! Great job! I made pumpkins for my daughters preschool class for the same reason. They didn't want any ghosts, witches etc. For my daughter's kindergarten class, I was at least able to add ghosts and black cats.

It is just a shame that so many have to live in fear of so few. My Halloweeners were thrilled with them.
