Pumpkin Cookies

Pumpkin Cookies on Cake Central

Sugar cookies with MMF and royal icing accents. Made as "thank yous" for the volunteers at the church harvest party. Much quicker to do the MMF than to flood with royal and wait for drying time. I had to make 50 of them and they're about 4 inches wide.

excellent job, especially like your packaging. Never woked with mmf, how does it compare to rolled fondant? Is it spreadable or "doughish"? Made 10 doz cookies this weekend and flooded with color flow recipe then decorated. took me forever.

I think MMF is fairly comparable to rolled fondant. It's "doughish" in my estimation, definately not spreadable. But for a large number of largely single color cookies, it definately beats the flooding! From the time I started rolling out the MMF until I finished the last green accents was probably only an hour.
