Umm, My First Attempt At Whimsy

Yeah, uh, so this idea was taken directly from the Whimsical Bakehouse, yet beside the modge podge of colors, it does not resemble it much. This is my first attempt at a Whimsical cake and it was pretty darn crooked (but did manage to stay up!). My coworkers (It was for the July birthdays) thought it looked like a Dr. Seuss cake (without my prodding - I promise) , so I'm "okay" with the way it turned out.

i think it's adorable. it does look very seussian - like you pulled it right out of a seuss book! great job esp for a 1st. i can't even bring myself to try one yet! ;-D

I think it looks a LOT better than my first attempt at one of those cakes. Great colors and just the right amount of tilt. :)

You wanted whimsical, this is definitely whimsical. I think that it is a compliment that they think of it as a Dr. Seuss cake. Good job on your first whimsy.
