Devil's Food Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream icing. I made this as a 'Get Well' gift for my MIL after she broke her wrist a couple of months ago. I didn't have the right tip (I do now..lol), but they came out pretty well, and she (and my BIL's as well) loved them!!! Can't wait to do them again!
A couple of the cupcakes have a few extra toothpicks under them for support...but that was before I discovered that if you use around 3 toothpicks aiming at a nice upward angle, the cupcakes stayed nice and snug!
You did a great job -- I wouldn't know you used the wrong tip. I would think you meant for it to be like that!
Great job! I just did these but had trouble keeping them on the skewers. What was your secret?
I think I like them better with that tip!!!
On the instructions that I got off of CC, it said to use a 1M tip...I *think* I used a #32 tip
