No, I did not carve the helmet. I have a wilton helmet pan that I picked up at a yard sale for 50 cents.

looks great, how did you make the silver icing? i am having a heck of a time making silver

Sorry it took so long to answer your question. The icing is not silver. I just added wilton black gel coloring to the white icing. It looks shiny because of the flash on the camera. I know most people use luster dust to achieve silver but I have never worked with dust.
