Customer wanted the barbie from the cover of the 2002 Wilton Yearbook. That barbie was done in fondant, this one is done in buttercream. I used the icing bag, without a tip, to build up the scallops in the dress and then smoothed them out as best I could with a spatula, then used HOT water and a paint brush to smooth further. This is my favorite cake I have done to date.
