Stratocaster
This left-handed stratocaster was made of 2 layers of chocolate cake, filled with dark chocolate ganache and iced in buttercream. The tuning keys were made of gumpaste and coated with gold dust, as was the bridge. The pickups and details were done with black fondant.
Yes, we carved it (BEFORE filling). Freezing the cakes works best for carving.
