Oval cake torted to four layers, frosted with buttercream. I was hoping to make the diamond pattern but it turned out more like lattice work. Really hard to do on buttercream without an impression mat or using fondant. I used a strand of uncooked spaghetti to make the lines straight, then piped over the indention. Roses and dots painted with pearl luster dust.
