Dragon Cake
I made this for my husband's birthday. This was the first time I've attempted a carved cake. It was actually much easier than I anticipated it to be, but it was pretty time consuming. The scales are rolled buttercream, the horns, eyes,spieks, etc. are mmf. The scales took about 2 hours to cut out and apply! It was fun, but it was a little sad seeing him all cut up...kind of like seeing a stuffed animal mutilated! Still, he was delicious!

Wow! This is awesome! My husband loves dragons. We have a dragon statue in our front yard.. . lol . . . he had to have it!

Great job on the scales. They look so realistic! Lucky husband! (My husband wouldn't let us cut his last bday cake...kids were not happy!)
