how did you make the fondant buttons
I rolled out fondant, cut it with a small circle cutter and while it was STILL in the cutter, pressed a pretty large diameter wooden dowel in the middle of it until it squished fondant up the sides.. Popped it out and used a tip 3 to make the button holes. Tada! HTH!

What a great idea for making those buttons! The cake looks just incredible! Such pretty pastel colors!
