Birthday Fiesta Cake
I was asked to do another Fiesta cake. I love making this one! It is a 9 X 13 lemon-blueberry cake tha is cut in half and stacked.

Triplet, I love this cake and this is perfect timing...I just got a request about an hour ago for a mexican themed cake. What did you make the hat out of and what tip did you use for the cactus?

The chili peppers look great and your printing is awesome!Nice job.
Thank you! The cactus were made with the big star tip (can't remember which one) and the hat is fondant with Gum Tex added to it. Cut out your circle for the brim, use the basketweave tip to make a straw-like pattern, put it into a bowl dusted with cornstarch and let it dry. The cone was placed over a mini wondermold, also embossed with basketweave tip. Have fun!
