Snowman Hat Box

Snowman Hat Box on Cake Central

My other entry in the OSSAS. It made 1st in the adult advanced Holiday category. Covered in fondant with fondant/gumpaste characters. The hat and gloves are fondant. I took little pieces of fondant to make it look like wool. It took hours to do but I loved the effect.

Yes, I individually put on each piece of fondant on the hat and mittens to make it look like wool. I like to make things difficult. :)

This cake captures the winter spirit perfectly. Love the texture of the mittens. It was worth the hours of work you put into this cake. It is a BEAUTIFUL job.
