Ruth's 50Th Birthday Cake
My neighbour Ruth remarked how she liked one of Collette Peters cakes when looking through one of her books, so I thought I would 'attempt' a 'CP-esque' cake for her birthday! I am FAR too nervous to attempt any carving or tilting of cakes yet so this is what she got!! Tiers: rich fruit, chocolate, white chocolate, & chocolate again on the top! Fondant covered with modelling paste decorations.

I love your cake! I totally understand the scary part of the carving/ tilting of cakes, I really want to try it also. Looking at this cake I can tell your very talented i bet you would do a great job!!
