This was a miniture cake I baked in a baked bean can,(thouroughly washed of course LOL) it was the perfect size for what I wanted to do, the santa's face was made by pressure pipping
not quite sure why the book I got the idea from called it that, but its just a build up of royal icing and squiggling the nozzel about whilst pipping lol.... these authors like the tech terms though dont they :)
thanks......I read it one of my books years ago to use cans,but to make sure you line them with double thickness of paper... I only ever made fruit cake in them,dont know how sponge would turn out

I have never heard of baking a cake in a can. Sounds interesting. Your cake is very cute.
