Finished Pumpkin

Finished Pumpkin on Cake Central

Here is the finished pumpkin from the one I posted earlier. I added the leaf garland to cover up the imperfections around the bottom. I am really pleased with the way it turned out.

This looks great! I am wanting to try one of these. Did you use buttercream icing, and if so how did you get the lines on the sides of the pumpkin? Beautiful!

It looks amazing!! I would love to know how your did it myself - what type of pan did you use? Did you airbrush the color on? Did you use 2 colors? Lots of questions!!!

Thank you for your comments. This was actually really easy to do. It is two bundt cakes iced in buttercream and airbrushed. I iced in buttercream, let it crust a little, then used the Viva Method to smooth and ran my fingers down the grooves of the cake to make the indentions. Then I airbrushed with orange and used a ice cream cone for the stem and iced it in green buttercream. Again thank you for your comments.
