Thailand Elephant
The cake was originally going to be carved into an elephant...but carving is not what I do best! So plan B went into action and the elephant was modelled and will keep forever whereas the cake would've been eaten and gone in a moment...that's a good enough reason for me! The design is royal icing and painted with antique gold lustre. The rest is sugarpaste and painted where necessary. Completely edible.
