This bride's colours were black and pink, so I did the cookies with tiny pink dots for rosebuds and tiny green leaves. I toyed with doing the bottom border in black, but went with matching pink in the end. I was too afraid it would look weird on a wedding cookie!
oh, I called them rosebuds...but they are just pink dots with green dots. No crazy mini detailing there!
I love them! I love all of your cookies - they are always so perfect! What kind of icing and consistency do you use to ice them?
i've posted my recipe in the Recipes section. It's Royal Icing for Decorated Cookies. Check out www.kitchengifts.com for step-by-step instructions that have images.
Just beautiful, how did you get the rosebuds so tiny?
Perfect and beautiful as always.
They're gorgeous! I wanted to tell you too, that I tried the chocolate rolled cookies from kitchengifts that you recommended. Other than the fact that I got 96 cookies when the recipe said it made 18 (I thought that looked odd), they came out awesome! Thanks for the suggestion.
