Maxie's 1St Birthday
This was the first time the spirit over took me with the desire to have the decorations on the cake come up off the cake. Again this design was inspired by the party decorations chosen by Maxie's Mom. She had a pool party and fish were the theme. The coral/seaweed strands were not on the decorations but the cake just seemed to need them.
Splendid! I like the seaweed extending beyond the cake -- great inspriation!
Very Cute! How did you make the "water" multi colored? (I'm VERY new at this)
briggs send me an email [email protected] I can send you to a website that shows that cake step by step.

That is so neat! How did you make the seaweed?
Thank you so much....The Seaweed is colored chocolates. To create them I just freehanded the design on to a sheet of clear plastic film. The Fish are also made from colored chocolates. The same plastic film is laid over the design you wish to copy and then just trace the image. When the chocolate cools it is smooth and shiny on the bottom side.
I LOVE THIS CAKE GREAT JOB
Can I possibly ask the instruction on how you made the seaweed and the color of your icing...Thank you. [email protected]
