Olivia Saves The Circus Cake

Olivia Saves The Circus Cake on Cake Central

My daughter's preschool put on a circus based on this book so we made a cake to add to the celebration. It is a chocolate fudge cake with cookies and cream filling and buttercream and has chocolate Olivias attached with royal icing. The circus tent is pretzels sticks with ribbon attached with royal icing. This is my first upload here -- I love this website and have gotten lots of inspiration from you all -- thanks!

WOW 8O I love this cake, amazing work. What are the figues made of? It looks like fondant with piped outlines? My daughter would love this cake, since she is a little Olivia herself!

Thank you for your nice comment. The figures are chocolate transfers. I took pictures from the book and used melted Wilton candy melts to fill in on parchment paper that was laid over the picture photocopies. It was so fun to make!
