Client ordered cake for her hubby. She had no idea what she wanted. I knew that he likes to build with wood...saw an ELABORATE, GORGEOUS, DETAILED woodworking cake by klsunny, but client didn't want to spend much, so, I made a very simple, plain cake for $10.00...probably shouldn't have charged her that much...

I REALLY don't like the streamers...but DH said that it needed a party look to it...thanks for all the great words of encouragement! It's hard to see in the picture, but the nails are on planks of wood...the wood grain look didn't come through in the picture.

Here's a funny for ya'. last night as I was assembling the letters onto the cake, I had looked at the planks and nails for soooo long, that I had to have my 9 year old verify what it said!!! LOL!!!

Don't think you should have charged her $10? I think you should have charged her atleast $45!! I love your idea for the lettering...very creative...this is going in my album!
