Brushed Embroidery Wedding Cake

Brushed Embroidery Wedding Cake on Cake Central

The wedding cake for this weekend. The cake itself is a 14" 10" 6" tiered cake with 14" fudge marble, 10" carrot and 6" white. All just have buttercream filling and was iced in buttercream. This is the first time for brushed embroidery so I just did the leaves that way. The flowers are royal icing. This is just a close up because I had to set the cake up in the shop on the premises because they didn't want the dogs to eat the cake while the wedding ceremony was taking place.

Very well done! I would have never thought of the brushed embroidery leaves, they add such an unusual dimension to your design and your placement of flowers is just stunning ;-D

Thanks all for the compliments!! I didn't know it was going to be so fun to do brushed embroidery!! I want to do more. Now I have to try do flowers with the leaves!
