Vining Branches With Flowers
This cake is iced smooth with buttercream. A friend of my moms daughter was very specific as to what type of flower and how she wanted the branches to vine. The looping branches on the bottom are to replicate her dresser when she was growing up. Leaves, petal flower sand lotus blossoms are all done with brushed embroidery. My first time doing this technique.
Thank you everyone! I just dropped off the cake, they loved it. But....the flowers they put on top TOTALLY ruined the look of the cake. What a shame!
I forgot, they will be adding flowers to the top tomorrow....
