Beth's Wedding Cake

Beth's Wedding Cake on Cake Central

My daughter's wedding cake....I waited 25 years to make this and loved doing every minute of it. Orange cake with marmalade buttercream filling and covered in fondant. Decorated with dark chocolate icing for branches, gumpaste blossoms and doves. She had a vintage garden wedding with the colors of blue and brown.

Thank you everyone! The blue is a combo of sky blue and royal blue... small amounts of each mixed in. Then I dusted it all with white pearl luster dust.

It came out awesome. Check out the current Martha Stewart weddings. They did one in pink. I like yours better because of the doves and the blue.

LittleLinda~ no it was a 1940's vintage garden theme, complete with a 17 piece jazz band. The cake cherry blossoms and branchs mimicked the invitation paper. Thanks for looking.
