Thanks. I used a stencil for the sides and I did the beads free hand. I'm trying to figure out if this is the best look for the wedding cake that I have to do. I'm thinking about stencilling on royal icing instead of luster dust and making the beads smaller or using some other border. Any ideas???
I think the design is beautiful along with the bead! My suggestion would be to use royal icing to put the design on the cake, then use the luster dust..You get a fuller look to the design instead of being flat against the cake.
beads maybe a little smaller but the colors and stencil design are beautiful, the bead size would also depend on how large the cake layers were too. Nice start though.

Susan, that's really pretty, did you do it using a stencil?
This is really lovely. How did you do the design on the body of the cake? Did you use the besd maker for the beads, or was it done free hand?

I love this, Susan! I agree with cindww about the royal for a fuller look to the design. Beautiful!!!

That is so pretty. Sort of reminds me of a henna design - the design itself and the texture. The bead border is very pretty.
