Stacy's Shower Cake
This is my first fondant-covered cake-and things went pretty ok! It is a 10" square marble cake with Bavarian creme filling. I iced it in buttercream, then covered that with marshmallow fondant. The rope border (ok, need to work on that!) and the ribbon roses and leaves were also MMF. The ribbon across the cake is gumpaste (ran out of purple fondant, but had leftover gumpaste from the bow that wouldn't dry because it has been raining for the last three days!) and the writing is buttercream.

I think this cake is elegant, I how did you get that color of green?
It is avocado green by AmeriColor...I love it...I could have used it a while ago when doing a celadon green wedding...Thank you for the comment!
