Second view of cake - inserted pipecleaner goal posts, too. This was fun - I was expecting disasters and lots of problems - would love to refine it and do another one.

Thanks! The helmet was a 1/2 sports ball over a 6" round. Carved an angled section off bottom of sports ball cake to enlarge helmet opening. Covered in buttercream. I put 2 strips of fondant on the helmet for the lines, then printed out an edible image for the raven's logo on the helmet. I originally made a gumpaste face mask, but it broke while I was putting it on the cake, so I just grabbed some pipecleaners and shaped away! Didn't even have time to cover the pipecleaners with fondant.
