Hubby made these cakes for my SIL baby shower - they are white cake with buttercream and fondant - and strawberries between the layers - what a mess it seemed like it was going to be! I made the favors, the little booties are royal icing over marshmallows and nut cups - filled with mints and white chocolate baby bottles which I also made. Everyone LOVED them! One of his first attempts at fondant, and FIRST attempt at fruit filling, so I think not bad for a newbie - better than I could have done for sure!
