Kittie Cakes
My daughter wanted a birthday cake that looked like our two new kittens. I couldn't find a good model for a 3 d cake, and my baking supplies are very basic. I came up with these, which where made with bowls for the bodies, cup cakes for the head, and chocolate chip cookies for the ears. Crude perhaps, but she loved them.

I love it when people go "outside the box" to make something that others do in conventional fashion. Bowls, cups, and chocolate chip cookies. Wow, that's really cool! Now, it is hard to see from the pic, so how did you make the fur look the way it does?
