Bride To Be Wonder Mold Cake

This is my first Wonder Mold Doll Cake. I actually wanted to press "lace" into the fondant by rolling a doily over it before applying to the cake, but had to abandon that idea when it didn't work. I made a train for it as well, with leftover fondant. (see next pic)

I guess the coarse large grained. I was visiting family in Canada when I made this. I bought the sugar at a place called "Bulk Barn". I'm pretty sure they had the word "crystals" in their description of the sugar (comes in a bunch of different colors too). Maybe a grocery store with bulk items would carry it here in the US?

I lightly wet it with a damp brush, then just let the sugar slide down the dress. I did lose a few sugar crystals on the drive over to the location of the shower, but nothing major :)

I used large sugar crystals (coarse, I guess). I bought it at a bulk store in Canada. Just used a damp brush to wet the fondant, then pat them onto the bodice. Sorry for the grainy picture!
