Big Comfy Couch
This is for a little girl's first birthday, I made a small smash cake to go with it. Even the pillows are cake! This was my first paid cake. If you can imagine, I had a horrible time with the fondant covering the couch. it's all one piece though, so I'm proud of myself! The figures are all fondant/gumpaste and everything else is cake. Vanilla with chocolate filling & buttercream frosting all covered in fondant..
okay, she is supposed to look like she's pointing, I swear!

Such wonderful skills, that is a fabulous cake! 8O
I think you did wonderful on it!! I still have trouble using fondant..... it can be tricky. I've not yet tried a couch but I sure want to! It's so cute!

Wow!!! What a great job!!
This is great! My son loves Big Comfy Couch!
I forgot to mention that the little figure on the right side is supposed to be a likeness of the little girl who's birthday it is! As for the pans, I used a 14" round for the back, and then carved up a 6" round for the 3 'humps'. the arms are two loaf pans, and the bottom layer is a rectangle pan. there was quite alot of carving involved, but I think it turned out pretty good
Wow!
adorable!!
