I first covered a section of wire, that I bent to shape with fondant and let it dry for a day or two. Then I used the largest leaf cut out fron a gumpaste kit, once i had the shape I hand cut each strand in the palm to the effect that I wanted. I then placed the Palm leaves on the dried fondant covered wire, I found out doing this part closest to delivery worked out best. I covered coloums with grey fondant about a week ahead to set up. Then I just put the wires down the coloums.
