End Of Year Pto Cake
The President of the Parent-Teacher Organization asked me to make a cake to feed about 40 people for the final meeting/party of the year. She asked if I could match the stationary she used. Here is the result. The bottom 10" tier is a basic golden cake from scratch with choc. mousse filling and a decorator's bc. The 6" top tier is Sour Cream Lemon Poppyseed with a lemon bc filling. They're covered in Rhonda's Ultimate MMF with bc piping.

Thank you. Unfortunately when I tried to transfer the pattern, it wasn't working well, so I just decided to do it freehand.
I think this is one of my favorite cakes with that mix of colors I just love this cake!

Thanks so much! I guess having an artisic background helps, but not having drawn or painted in about 12 years does not [help]. lol I definitely need to practice a bit more, but I do enjoy working on cake design with intricate patterns (just need to get better at doing it).
